The Hampshire Companies, a full-service, private real estate investment firm with equity in assets valued at over $2 billion, has announced the appointment of Thomas Maron as Assistant Controller.

Mr. Maron will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting and tax matters pertaining to the company's institutional investment funds. Prior to joining Hampshire, Mr. Maron was a real estate auditor with Ernst & Young. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science and a Professional Accounting Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
