The Hampshire Companies Sells 6,000-Square-Foot Restaurant Parcel in Deptford, N.J.

Deptford, N.J.

The Hampshire Companies, a full-service, private real estate investment firm with equity in assets valued at over $2.5 billion, has announced the disposition of a 6,000-square-foot restaurant parcel located at 1440 Almonesson Road in Deptford, N.J. to RARE Hospitality International, Inc., an owner, operator and franchiser of restaurants in the United States.

The free-standing building is conveniently located across from the Deptford Mall and Deptford Plaza, providing direct visibility and excellent retail traffic. Situated near the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 42, the property also offers easy access to major roadways. The building was previously occupied by Ninety Nine Restaurant, a New England casual dining restaurant chain owned by parent company O’Charley’s Inc.

“The building’s strategic location within a highly populated and easily accessible shopping area made this an ideal investment opportunity for the buyer,” said Ray Ayers, an Investment Manager for The Hampshire Companies. “The building’s features and layout are also tailored specifically to the restaurant industry, largely factoring into the buyer’s decision.”

RAS Brokerage represented the buyer.
