The Hampshire Companies, a full-service, private real estate investment firm with equity in assets valued at over $2.5 billion, has announced that PetSmart, the largest specialty retailer of services and solutions for the lifetime needs of pets, has leased 7,200 square feet of premier retail space at Veterans Square Town Center located in Lyndhurst, N.J.
Veterans Square Town Center is situated on 12.31 acres on New York Avenue in Lyndhurst, NJ. The 144,400 square foot retail center boasts tenants such as Shop Rite Supermarket, HomeGoods, GNC and Supercuts. Currently about 10,000 square feet of space remains available at the highly active shopping center which offers abundant onsite parking, averages more than 45,000 shoppers per week. Adding to the attraction of Veterans Square Town Center is the outstanding retail demographics, with a population of over 171,000 in a three-square-mile radius and an average household income in excess of $75,000.

The deal was brokered by the Crossroads Company, who manages the shopping center and represented Hampshire in the transaction. Metro Commercial Real Estate represented Petsmart.
